Kim Kardashian's style is very versitile, it is constantly changing. One day it may be about being edgy and out there, the next day all about elegance and sophistication, the next it might be a really relaxed look. She knows how to embrace her curves, she knows what looks good on her and what's in fashion. She wears quite a lot of black but she can get away with it as she always manages to jazz it up somehow. Here are a few  of Kim's looks:

high-low skirts and dresses

I love the high-low trend! it's fun, yet sophisticated, you will find many celebrities displaying the trend whilst attending big events, but you don't have to wear the trend like them, make it your own. You can make the trend look more casual by wearing some ankle boots, a denim waistcoat , a skinny belt, and tucking in a cute little t-shirt. Or you can do a two in one, combining the popular colour blocking trend (which I may do a blog on in the near future) and the high-low trend, like this ;

They come in many different colours and patterns and they are very versatile, take the high-low skirt above for example, if she were wearing and black sequined sleeveless top, and some shiny black heels without the jacket with the skirt, it would look very formal. However, if she was wearing flat pumps, a leather jacket and a white tank top, it would look more casual and relaxed, while still looking stylish, try this for that positively effortless look.

Geek chic

Geek chic is a nerdy kind of look, with a touch of class, hot on the runway and hot on the highstreet it's easier to wear than you might think you'll find clothig like these in many highstreet stores

neutral nail varnish/polish

To start with, I absolutely love neutral nail varnish!

For those of you who don't already know, neutral colours are fairly pale and basic, such as pale pinks, grey-ish browns, creams, pearly pinks, greys, matte golds, etc, very basic, dull colours or duller versions of bright colours, but worn with the right outfit, they can really stand out! Nail varnish can be a really big accessory to an outfit.

You can where it pretty much amywhere, gold neutral nails with that little red dress you where on a big night out with the girls on friday might, grey neutral with that stylish black suit for that all important dream job interview, neutral pink with that deep purple bikini you where at yhe beach, out and about doing the shopping, you name it! What effect does it have? It compliments your outfit or skintone, just adding that finishing touch, it is quite daring to where with bright outfits hut it looks amazing so give it a go. I love Versace (pronounced versachi), it's absolutely amazing! I can't exactly afford Versace but if I could, my wardrobe would be stuffed with Versace. What can be expected from Versace:

• Studs, studs and more studs, soooo Versace!

• Prints such as seashells,fruits and butterflies
• White clothing with prints over them

I really like the new Versace collection "ss12"  most of the clothing and accessories in this collection are white and studded, some plain with studs, some patterned with studs. Quite interesting, some are very out there, others are with in my reach, they are very well detailed, every little stud has been carefully placed, amazing.

I am without a doubt a massive fan of this trend!!!! knee-high socks come in many different colours and patterns to match different outfits, they go great with shorts, skirts, and party dresses. They're good for times when you want to wear something short, without revealing too much so that you're whole legs are on show, or without covering up too much by wearing black tights underneath, they meet perfectly half way between the two!

Many young celebs have been spotted rocking knee-high socks, a big fan of the trend is Jade Thirlwall from little mix, she LOVES them!

The wonderful world of fashion

I have a passion for fashion, I love finding out the latest trends, learning about hot designers, seeing what's going on on the catwalk, and buying clothes of course! The fashion industry is so fast pase and very busy, and I hope to one day become part of it as a fashion editor, writing for websites and magazines, interviewing celebs and designers, hiring models and photographers, working with stylists, attending fashion shows deciding which articles get published, just thinking about it gives me butterflies! I know it isn't going to be easy getting there and I can't just jump straight into it without loads of experience, but I have my mind set on it, and I'm ready to learn, that means starting of assisting stylists for free, doing some modeling to get a better idea of what the industry is like, becoming a freelance in the fashion industry, and working my way up from there, it will take a couple of years half work but I know it's gonna be worth it in the end.

We wouldn't have such a great fashion industry today without the help of the stylists, the directors, the press, the journalists, the editors, the designers, even the celebrities who advertise the clothes, and of course the models, they all work together to bring us what's known as, FASHION!

The 80's inspired look is very elegant and is worn to big events by many celebrities and can make dresses appear slighty more fancy, such as an lbd.

I think Nicole looks the best in her black pelpum dress, it exposes her tiny waist and contrasts with her skin colour making the dress stand out, her hairstyle is perfect as it's sophisticated and her tied back hair allows the dress to be the focus, perfect!



The style is simply fit for royalty!































see! Even princess Kate (or should i say "princess Catherine") Is in on the trend! This blue dress accompanied by a blue pelpum blazer looks very classy on Kate, only the best for royalty! I don't think you need any more conivncing on the pelpum trend, if a princess can rock it, you sure can too!
